WINTER AND WATER LANDSCAPES

Last Saturday the Nordic Watercolor Museum was surrounded by ice. It was the opening of "Art Comics Life" with 19 artists from the nordic countries. The comic art have left the pages and turned into giant wall paintings, sculptures, films etc. The exhibition is fantastic.

My contribution to the exhibition is in two parts. The first is a room installation with my picture story Triton. The pictures are projected downwards into a glass box filled with water. The pictures are reflected up in the ceiling. From a loudspeaker you hear music from Michael Galasso. You will soon be able to see filmed material from the installation.

The second part is called "The Dream of The Fisherman's Wife", a 270 x 120 cm triptych made in ink and gouache on paper. "The Dream of The Fisherman's Wife" is a sequel to the story Triton. I will not show a reproduction of the triptych until a high quality reproduction is made. Anyhow it's supposed to be seen live.

Thanks all of you who attended the opening. Those of you who weren't don't miss this fantastic exhibition.

  1. Jag ångrar att jag inte hann halka runt på klipporna mer än vad jag gjorde. Tjörn kändes riktigt lyckat, och det är sällan man hittade ett gäng som kom på så bra lösningar så fort. Jag är mycket nöjd.

  2. Ja du borde varit där längre Cool Bones. Du var saknad men närvarande i anden. Det blev en bra utställning. Din film är mycket suggestiv.
